About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and YoAIRap ("we", "us"), the operator of yoairap.com. By creating an account or making a video, you accept them. If you don't, please don't use the service.

Who can use YoAIRap

You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for everything done with your account, so keep your sign-in details private.

What the service does

You upload one or two photos of yourself, of people who agreed, or of pets, and we use AI to make a short rap video of them:

• Original raps (Create your own and original-song templates): the AI writes the lyrics and the beat for the theme you type, and the video comes with that song.
• Meme templates: a remake of a popular rap meme's set, moves and timing, without sound. The video never contains footage or audio from the original performance.

Results vary, and the people or animals in a video won't look exactly like the photos.

Credits and payment

• Videos are paid for with credits, bought in one-time packs or through a monthly or yearly plan. There is no free tier.
• The credits a video costs depend on what you pick (the template or Create your own, the quality and the length). They are shown before you start and taken when you start.
• Plans renew automatically at the same price until you turn off renewal on the Account page. The plan then runs until the end of the period you paid for and stops; you won't be charged again.
• A plan that renews can be upgraded at any time to a higher tier, or from monthly to yearly. The upgrade takes effect at once and is charged to the plan's payment method right away: the price difference for the rest of the current period, or, from monthly to yearly, the yearly price less the unused part of the current month, with the new year starting that day. The plan then renews at its new price. An upgrade adds the extra monthly credits for the rest of the current month; moving to yearly replaces the current month's remaining plan credits with the yearly plan's first month. Plans can't be moved to a lower tier or from yearly to monthly.
• Credits from a plan are valid for one month: unused ones expire when the next month's credits are added and don't carry over. Credits from a pack are valid for 12 months. The credits closest to expiring are used first.
• Prices are in US dollars and don't include tax. Any sales tax, VAT or GST that applies where you live is added at checkout.
• Prices may change; a change never affects credits you already bought.

Failed videos

You only pay for videos that succeed. Credits go back to your balance automatically, without you asking, when:

• a video fails or times out, or
• a video is stopped by our safety checks after it started.

If a photo or the text you typed doesn't pass our checks before a video starts, no credits are taken at all. Every charge and every credit that comes back appears in your credit history on the Account page.

Your photos

You keep all rights to the photos you upload. By uploading, you confirm that:

• the photos show you, people who gave you permission, or animals, and
• nobody in them is under 18.

You give us a limited licence to store and process the photos, and to send them to the AI service providers we use (see our Privacy Policy), only to make and check your videos. How long we keep them is explained there.

What you may not do

You must follow our Content Policy. In short: no minors, no sexual content, no politicians or other people who didn't agree, nothing hateful, harassing or illegal, and nothing meant to deceive people about who someone is. We may refuse, remove or stop any video, and suspend accounts that break these rules.

Using your videos

You may download your videos and post them on social media or use them personally. When you post them:

• say they are AI-generated, and turn on the platform's AI label where there is one;
• don't present them as real footage of the people in them;
• if you add a meme's original song (for example from TikTok's sound library), its use is governed by that platform's licence, not by us.

YoAIRap is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any artist, record label or show whose meme a template is based on. Meme and artist names are used only to describe the trend.

Service changes

We may change, pause or retire templates and features. A template whose meme has passed may stay online but is not guaranteed.

Payment disputes

If something is wrong with a payment, please write to us first: we can usually sort it out faster than your bank. While a dispute or chargeback with your bank is open, the credits from that payment are taken back and any plan it paid for ends. If the dispute is decided in our favor, those credits are returned. An account with an open chargeback may be suspended while it is reviewed.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time on your Account page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Unused credits on a closed account are lost.

Changes to these terms

We will post changes on this page and update the date above. Using the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
